
Minutes of the monetary policy meeting on 28 January 2025
The Executive Board decided to cut the policy rate by 0.25 percentage points to 2.25 per cent at its monetary policy meeting on 28 January 2025.
In the minutes of the meeting, you can follow the discussion leading up to the decision and see the arguments put forward by the different members of the Board.
The Executive Board normally holds eight monetary policy meetings per year, at which it takes decisions on monetary policy. The minutes of the meeting are published around five working days after each monetary policy meeting.
