Autumn repertoire 2025 at The Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm
An unperformable comedy by William Shakespeare, Das Kapital as a dance theatre production, a guest performance from Hungary and a scenic installation based on a Nobel Prize-tipped Hungarian author. Croatian director Oliver Frljić returns with a French classic. The “play of plays”, Hamlet, starring Gustav Lindh (from The Northman by Robert Eggers) and Gizem Erdogan (from Netflix series The Playlist and Caliphate) in a free adaptation by Mattias Andersson. All this and much more at Dramaten this autumn.

Actors Melinda Kinnaman and David Fukamachi Regnfors presented the autumn lineup, joined by Dramaten’s Artistic Director Mattias Andersson, Young Dramaten Artistic Director Carl Johan Karlson, and actors and directors involved in the autumn productions.
Mattias Andersson said: “In a present where we appear to be in global freefall, and where the meaning and order of statements and premises swing on an almost daily basis, we continue to create theatre for our audiences – and to reflect and be moved collectively by the urgency of the present time as well as history.”
