The Church of Sweden’s cultural grants
Every year, the Church of Sweden awards cultural grants in order to contribute to the creation of new works with existential relevance. The works can address the Christian tradition and the biblical stories, but do not have to do that.

The grants can be applied for by creators, artists and performers in the fields of visual arts, film, literature, performing arts, music and interdisciplinary art forms. They can also be applied for by dioceses and parishes or other institutions of the Church of Sweden, in cooperation with professional cultural creators.

The applications are assessed in particular in terms of their artistic quality and existential relevance. Projects relating to the lives of children and young people are particularly welcome.
