Panasonic utökar sin tillverkningskapacitet för värmepumpar i Tjeckien
Panasonics fabrik i tjeckiska Pilsen startade sin produktion av luft-vattenvärmepumpar för tre år sedan. Produktionen har stadigt ökat, delvis tack vare ökad efterfrågan på dess luft/vattenvärmepumpslösningar, Aquarea.

Enligt European Heat Pump Market and Statistics Report (den statistiska rapporten om den europeiska marknaden för värmepumpar), som innehåller data från 21 europeiska länder, ökade försäljningen av värmepumpar med 7,4 procent i Europa under 2020. Det innebar 1,62 miljoner sålda enheter och ett nytt försäljningsrekord trots pandemin. Sedan Panasonic startade produktionen av värmepumpar i Pilsenfabriken under 2018 har kapaciteten kontinuerligt vuxit, för att möta såväl den aktuella efterfrågan som en snabbare framtida tillväxt i Europa.
Värmepumparna står för en årlig minskning av koldioxidutsläppen inom EU med 9,16 miljoner ton och enligt Internationella energirådet skulle värmepumpar kunna spara 1,8 miljoner ton koldioxid per år inom bygg- och industrisektorerna.
