Voi tar in $85 miljoner (820M SEK) i finansieringsrunda

Voi avslutar den senaste finansieringsrundan där man tagit in över 820 miljoner SEK från nya och befintliga investerare. Med det nya kapitalet ska Voi fortsätta utveckla verksamheten för att förändra sättet människor reser på i framtiden.

Voi har utvecklats från en start-up till en av Europas största aktörer sedan lanseringen i september 2018.

Voi ska använda det nyinkomna kapitalet till att utveckla lönsamheten i de städer man finns. Men det ska också investeras i forsknings- och utvecklingsarbete, företagets egenutvecklade tekniska plattform och att ta fram nästa generations el-scootrar - detta kommer revolutionera “unit economics”, användarupplevelsen och el-scootrarnas livslängd. Finansieringen ska accelerera expansionen av Voi’s produktportfölj, monetärisera och stärka affärsverksamheten och positionen som det ledande mikromobilitetsföretaget i Europa. Voi har redan uppnått lönsamhet i flera städer.

Sedan starten 2018 har Voi vuxit från hemstaden Stockholm till att vara verksamma i 38 städer i 10 länder över hela Europa. Sedan dess har man bland annat lanserat i Berlin, München, Hamburg, Helsingfors, Oslo, Nürnberg, Düsseldorf, Marseille, Bordeaux, Odense, Tampere, Åbo och Winterthur - i år har Voi över 4 miljoner registrerade användare som åkt över 14 miljoner gånger.
