Hamburg, 19 March 2025 – With two new, spectacular evening shows on the floating stage on the river Elbe, breathtaking fireworks, magnificent parades featuring majestic windjammers, and many other new programme highlights, the people of Hamburg and their guests will celebrate the 836th HAMBURG PORT ANNIVERSARY. Attention-grabbing highlights On Thursday at 01:00 pm, the grand Arrival Parade will reach the port. Tall ships such as “Dar Młodzieży” and “Alexander von Humboldt II” along with numerous sailing ships large and small will enter the port to the delight of the admiring guests. This enthralling scenery will be enhanced by naval vessels, state-of-the-art specialised craft, tugboats, motor vessels, historic and museum ships, and countless sport boats. On Saturday at 3:45 pm, the unique tugboat ballet will be performed against the backdrop of Hamburg Harbour. In a fascinating choreography, nimble tugs boasting up to 3000 hp will dance to music on the Elbe in an impressive symphony. E

2024 återvänder den världsberömda holländska violinisten och dirigenten Andé Rieu till Göteborg. Den 14 juni står han på Scandinaviums scen tillsammans med sin 60-manna Johann Strauss-orkester. Biljetterna släpps på torsdag 9 november klockan 10.

The 250th anniversary celebrations continue at the Royal Swedish Opera! We are looking forward to a magnificent autumn season with strong emotions, great voices and, not least, the world premiere of the opera Melancholia by Mikael Karlsson, the premiere of the ballet Le Corsaire and the opera Don Giovanni as well as a number of long-awaited revivals. Tickets for all autumn performances are available now. In September we will also release the tickets for the party of the Century: the New Year's Masquerade in the Opera House.

The World Cup dressage at the Gothenburg Horse show brought the large audience in Scandinavium to a real dancing party when the best Swedish combinations gave it all and the international stars accepted the challenge.

Serge Lifar och Jéremie Bélingard, två koreografer som byggt upp sin stjärnstatus från Parisoperans balett – och nu aktuella med verk på Kungliga Operan i Stockholm. Om Lifar (1905-1986) och hans Suite en blanc var epokgörande vid mitten av 1900-talet, skapar Jérémie Belingard med Je t’attends, Je t’attends, Je t’attends ett helt nytt språk för Kungliga Baletten. Därav titeln Dancing | Forward, en double bill med premiär på Kungliga Operan fredag den 15 februari.
