I början av september kommer Aarhus, Danmarks näst största stad, formligen koka av festivaler. Under Aarhus Festvecka kommer staden bjuda konserter och olika events och under Food Festival fylls staden av matupplevelser.

Bergslagen Cycling är en av de värdar som helgen den 20-22 maj bjuder in till Outdoor Festival STHLM på Djurgården i Stockholm. Under dessa tre dagar ges festivalbesökare möjlighet att testa en rad olika friluftsaktiviteter, bland annat mtb-cykling.

When December comes, we all need a little light in the darkness – and this year perhaps more than ever before. To bring some more light and hope to our lives, about fifteen places around Stockholm will be lit up for Nobel Week Lights Stockholm on 5–13 December as part of the 2020 Nobel Week. This celebration of lights weaves together art and technology in a playful new way to celebrate this year’s Nobel Laureates.

On August 23, the fourth Ingmar Bergman International Theatre Festival opens at the Royal Dramatic Theatre (Dramaten), offering eleven days of guest performances from countries that include Iran, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Brazil, France and Belgium. Six new Dramaten productions will premiere during the festival, a screening of Jane Magnusson's forthcoming film, Ingmar Bergman: A Year, a Life. When the festival ends on September 2, more than 200 visiting actors, directors and theatre technicians will have convened on the national stage in more than 50 productions, discussions, workshops and film screenings.

På lördag den 16 september avgörs den andra upplagan av SM i utomhusmatlagning i samband med Sweden Outdoor Festival i Skövde. I råvarukorgarna finns enbart västsvenska produkter – ett faktum som skapar möjligheter att lyfta Västsverige som matdestination.
