Minutes of the monetary policy meeting on 18 March 2026

The Executive Board decided to hold the policy rate unchanged at 1.75 per cent at its monetary policy meeting on 18 March 2026.

In the minutes of the meeting, you can follow the discussion leading up to the decision and see the arguments put forward by the different members of the Board.

The Executive Board normally holds eight monetary policy meetings per year, at which it takes decisions on monetary policy. The minutes of the meeting are published around five working days after each monetary policy meeting.
