Nya möjligheter med stark kryptering ger bättre säkerhet och kontroll i publika och privata moln
nCipher Security, en del av Entrust Datacard, lanserar två nyheter i sin nShield-portfölj med hårdvarubaserade säkerhetsmoduler (HSM): nShield® Web Services Option Pack och nShield Container Option Pack, som gör det lättare att utnyttja stark kryptering i molnbaserade applikationer och förbättrar säkerhet och kontroll i både publika och privata moln.
nShield Web Services Option Pack är en lösning för att införa HSM-moduler i molnbaserade datacenter. Den erbjuder ett molnanpassat REST API för applikationer som behöver tjänster för kryptering av nycklar och data. nShield HSM-moduler kan hantera en rad kryptografiska funktioner, bland annat nyckelgenerering, kryptering, dekryptering, signering och verifiering. nShield Web Services Option Pack underlättar installation av applikationer som utnyttjar nShield HSM och gör det möjligt för kunden att använda egna lastbalanserare för att optimera drift och utnyttjande av en grupp med HSM-moduler.
nShield Container Option Pack gör det möjligt för nShield HSM-moduler att fungera sömlöst inom en containerbaserad systemmiljö. Många företag och myndigheter har upptäckt fördelarna med en containerarkitektur och möjligheterna den skapar i form av skalbarhet, flexibilitet och orkestrering. Genom att kombinera Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) med nShield HSM kan kunden använda sina egna kryptonycklar även för applikationer i det publika molnet, exempelvis Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) och Microsoft Azure. Samtidigt som man får del av alla fördelar med molnet kan man upprätthålla interna rutiner för kryptering och nyckelhantering, vilket ger bättre kontroll över känsliga data.
