Per Hellberg blir ny VD för PlayStar
PlayStar har ett mycket intressant koncept, grundare och ledningsgrupp som har vad som krävs för att bli framgångsrika i USA. Det här kommer bli en väldigt spännande resa och jag ser fram emot att få vara en del av den både som VD och investerare, säger Per Hellberg.
PlayStar grundades under 2020 av multientreprenören Joel Wikell. Bolaget har inlett ett samarbete med Ocean Casino Resort och planerar att lansera sitt online casino under Q4 2021 i delstaten New Jersey, som är världens tredje största reglerade spelmarknad.
Per Hellberg är en branschveteran med lång erfarenhet av ledande positioner inom näringslivet. Innan Catena Media var Hellberg VD och styrelseordförande i Readly, som han ledde från start och styrde verksamheten mot noteringen på NASDAQ Stockholm.
Per Hellberg bidrar även med god branscherfarenhet, då han 2009 anställdes som Chief Marketing Officer i Nordic Gaming Group (NordicBet) innan han befordrades till VD endast fem månader senare. Verksamheten växte betydligt under hans ledning innan den förvärvades av Betsson Group 2012.
