Volvo Cars utökar sitt samarbete med BluJay
BluJay Solutions, en ledande leverantör av programvara och tjänster för globala leverantörskedjor, meddelar att den svenska biltillverkaren Volvo Cars, en långvarig användare av BluJays lösning för transporthantering för transportföretag, har förnyat och utökat sitt partnerskap med BluJay.
Volvos anläggningar i Europa, Kina och USA använder BluJays lösning för hantering av transporter till sjöss, från tillverkningsanläggning till bilhandlare. I och med utvidgningen av TMS-partnerskapet förväntar sig Volvo en effektivitetsökning samtidigt som man skalar upp sin produktion som förväntas fördubblas under de närmaste tre åren.
Volvo ser fram emot att stärka relationen till BluJay som kommer att stödja vår tillväxt, vårt fokus på hållbarhet och vår strävan att endast sälja elbilar och hybrider online 2025. BluJays programvara för transporthantering fungerar som ryggraden i Volvos fordonsdistributionsnät genom att planera, optimera och spåra transporter av fordon, så att Volvo kan nå sina nya mål och förbli en grön verksamhet. Volvo Personvagnar har nyligen meddelat sina planer på att ändra hur och var de ska träffa sina kunder genom att förändra den nuvarande grossistmodellen och flytta den online. Man planerar även att vara ett helelektriskt bilföretag globalt 2030, lansera en ny familj av elbilar de närmaste åren och sluta producera fordon som drivs med fossila bränslen.
