Extreme Weather Testing for the Leapmotor T03 EV Shows Its Potential on the Market

At 53°33′N and 135°05′ E, the T03 model of Leapmotor had been tested in the harshest conditions. The tests included cold start, performance, power consumption, quick charge and discharge to show potential customers that Leapmotor vehicles are part of the new generation of EV’s.

The T03 is equipped with the "Heracles" electric drive assembly developed by Leapmotor. It is lightweight with excellent power numbers. With an efficiency of up to 92.3%, it shows the T03’s potential in cold environments. Thanks to the Hercules electric drive assembly, the T03's maximum output and torque reaches 55kW and 155Nm, respectively, and accelerates from 0 to 50km / h in 5 seconds, giving a great driving experience.

Most EV’s are powered by a high-performance lithium battery with high capacity and energy density and the Leapmotor T03 is no exception. As most EV enthusiast know, this can accomplish efficient energy production in cold winter and warm summer weather when combined with a temperature management system.

The Leapmotor T03 has undergone many charging performance tests during the test period with satisfactory results. In addition, for user convenience and extended range, the Leapmotor T03 includes special battery liquid heat management technology designed to keep the battery at an efficient operating temperature. With new technology, the T03 can maintain efficiency even in harsh conditions. The Leapmotor T03 has a total range of up to 400km with an advanced battery pack that will appeal to future EV buyers. Even in cold conditions, the vehicle provides ample cruising range.

Leapmotor T03 is equipped with the latest ESC technology in China, which integrates five features of ABS, EBD, TCS, AYC and HHC. When the vehicle oversteers or understeers, these features can help the driver avoid accidents. Moreover, Leapmotor T03 has an L2 intelligent driving system to give users a futuristic experience. T03 is equipped with 15 high-precision sensors and 10 intelligent driving assistance functions, like automatic parking, adaptive cruise with ACC, low-speed LSF follow-up, etc.
