Chief Prosecutor Jim Westerberg and Senior Prosecutor Karin Lundström-Kron will be available for short media interviews at Solna District Court on 4 May at 5 p.m. Details concerning this will be announced next week. The prosecutors will not be available to the media before that.

Prosecutors have today indicted a 32-year-old Swedish citizen for serious war crimes and terrorist crimes in Syria. The man is suspected of having executed a Jordanian fighter pilot together with other perpetrators belonging to the Islamic State. The offence was allegedly committed during the period of 24 December 2014-3 February 2015.
