Great revenge for Ada Race in the five-year-old class

The Swedish Warlmblood Trophy presented by Hyperion Stud is the competition for the best young horses from the autumn SWB Equestrian Weeks and they compete at the same level they were successful in during the autumn yearling competition. The competition classes are sponsored by Hyperion Stud, an American stud farm and competition stable with operations in Europe.

- We are here for the breeders; we want to work for breeders to be able to participate in the success of their breeding products for a longer part of the horses’ careers. The sport needs talented trained horses, and someone must make sure that the years between three and six years in a horse's life are a little better paid. Sweden is far ahead in horse welfare, which is extra close to Hyperion's heart, which is why we are sponsoring SWB Trophy, says Maucca Kärki, European representative for Hyperion Stud, which is owned by Vicky Castegren.

Great revenge for Ada Race in the five-year-old class

The victory went to the mare Ada Race nicely ridden by Dennis Johansson. They came to Gothenburg in one of the reserve spots and made the most of their chance.

- After SWB Equestrian Weeks, Ada Race got a rest, but then after the New Year we started competing her with the goal of starting here. She took the arena well, Ada can be a bit tense, but here she was exactly as usual, Dennis Johansson told.

- I started in the five-year class in 2018 and then I was second so I'm very happy for this victory, it feels like my most important success I have had so far, I'm so happy.

- I gave my victory flowers to Mary Johansson, who is both owner and breeder, and she is happy about our success. Now we train further on and the next big goal will be Falsterbo in the summer, comments Dennis Johansson.

On a daily basis, he runs a young horse and training stable together with his partner outside Halmstad, and Dennis has ten to twelve horses in his business.
