The horse with twenty owners won

It is perhaps lucky that it is the breeders' chance to shine at the SWB Trophy – to bring in the owners at the award ceremony would not have been easy in the case of six-year-old winner Salvia af Hagalund. The mare is a cooperative horse, it is owned by a company with twenty owners. One of twenty co-owners is the Swedish Warmblood Associations CEO Helen Uddefors, who is on the cooperative's board but not on the committee that has contact with the rider. Rider Viktoria Almgren is experienced and has ridden young horse finals in Scandinavium more times than she can count, so it goes with plenty of success in the Breeders Trophy.

- Salvia Af Hagalund has started both in Helsingborg and in Borås and she felt great, so it felt natural to plan for a start here in Scandinavium. She's so cool, so I felt pretty sure she would make it, explains Victoria Almgren.

- Having a horse with twenty different owners is not that big of a difference - I do my job in the usual way anyway. I have a WhatsApp group where I update everyone on how things are going and then there is a committee that decides what to do with Salvia. She has followed her development plan, explains Victoria Almgren.

- I don't know if I can keep her, that will be decided in the future.

Victoria Almgren has many years’ experience in running her own business in Stall V and matches several different competition horses at the Gothenburg Horse Show.
