The seven -year winner is a super gifted loose range horse

Rider Vendela Rubin does not hesitate when describing her seven -year -old winner Diploid.

- He has talent for everything and in abundance, I believe in him and there is no limit given time. An important part is that he has such fine rideability, has been easy learner and willing, always ready. Because he goes on loose range and is outdoors around the clock, he never needs to be given time to bounce of or reduce his energy. Diploid is mentally relaxed and ready for work because he is allowed to go outside, around the clock, all year round, Vendela Rubin explains.

Diploid took the atmosphere in Scandinavium well, although Vendela saw that part as the biggest challenge ahead of the competition. The road to the Swedish Warmblood Trophy start was a bit crooked - they won together in Flyinge under SWB Equestrian Weeks but owner Lottie Fredell and Vendela Rubin discussed a little back and forth if it was to be a start. After first declining, they then regretted and asked to get back into the starting field, finally the message came a few days ago: you have a starting place.

- It gave me even more motivation to show off Diploid here, I would like to come back with him in a few years again, says Vendela Rubin, who also rode at the Gothenburg Horse Show for the first time.

Now Vendela and Diploid are training, an combination that fits each other as a glove according to the owner Lottie Fredell. This year's goal is to yet again take one of the places for the Young Horse World Cup.
