Tomas Torgersen, Show Director at Gothenburg Horse Show, is pleased that the collaboration continues.

- The first year of the Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour exceeded our expectations! It feels very good that we, with the help of Lövsta Future Challenge, can continue to invest in young dressage riders and provide them with the conditions to prepare for future championships!

Last year, Dutch rider Marten Luiten was the most successful rider in the tour and has now climbed to number 1 in the U25 dressage world rankings:

-Lövsta Future Challenge International Dressage Tour has been a fantastic experience. We have gained experiences from competitions at the international top level, and it has also been so inspiring to be at the same competitions as the greatest riders! It has given me a lot of motivation and has contributed a lot to the successes we have had this year.

Antonia Ax:son Johnson, owner of Lövsta Stuteri and founder of Lövsta Future Challenge, is pleased with her continued commitment to dressage:

-Our tour showcased the high quality of U25-riders in Europe. It is particularly inspiring to see that several riders have trained the horses they ride to this level. It´s particulaty inspiring to see that several of the riders also has trained their horses up to this level. They speak with love and respect about their horses and the opportunity to progress together. This reflects a horsemanship in our sport to be proud of and that we are delighted to continue supporting.

The concept is similar to last season, where each event show has a total of 8 participants, and the host countries Sweden, Denmark, and the Netherlands have (at least) two starting entries each. All nations are invited to apply for the remaining two entries. Each show consists of two classes: the FEI U25 Grand Prix followed by the FEI Grand Prix Kür.

The Lövsta Future Challenge International Dressage Tour will be held during:

  • World Cup Herning, Denmark, October 18-22, 2023
  • Jumping Amsterdam, Netherlands, January 25-28, 2024
  • Gothenburg Horse Show, Sweden, February 21-25, 2024
