Young stars greeted the audience at Scandinavium

Ester, a five year old mare, entered the arena, neighed at the audience, and then trotted home with victory in the Swedish Warmblood Trophy presented by Hyperion. After her performance, she stood for a long time, contemplating the experience and found it all good.

"This is a big personality. I love mares, and this one is a new Mazy Kløvenhøj" said Ester's rider Johanna Dueboje, who was eighth in the World Cup final last year with Mazy, another SWB-bred mare.

Ester by Total Hope also had her breeder Petra Witzäll supporting her. Petra runs a small stud with high quality offspring.

"I have two mares in breeding, and the idea is for Ester to have a long competitive career with Johanna and then come home for breeding box at home" said Petra.

Among the six-year-old horses, Vidar, also by Total Hope bred by Helixad AB, received the highest scores. "He has a lot of energy and is very explosive but at the same time super sweet and very pleasant to ride. I really love him," said his rider Anna Svanberg.

Vidar is now preparing for the six-year-old classes.

"He's ready, he finds flying changes easy and is well on track for the level" Anna explained.

Buskhagas Ramayana by Revolution was in the Swedish Warmblood Trophy final for the third time with Linnea Holmgren in the saddle. Also as a six-year-old, he won the class. It's the Holmgren family who both bred and own the horse with the stud name Buskhaga, located in Värmland.

"He has fantastic rideability, he does everything easy, always happy. He's really a fun horse to work with."

The riders expressed great gratitude for the opportunity to ride at Scandinavium and to train the horses for bigger tasks. They have all qualified through the Breeders Trophy, which is held at Flyinge in October. Both the Breeders Trophy and the Swedish Warmblood Trophy have a collaboration with Hyperion Stud, which enables the effort and make breeders all around the country dream big about having their horses in the spotlight in Scandinavium.

"I am exceptionally impressed by the competition, by the horses, and I am so happy for the opportunity to give everyone this chance to prepare for the future," said Vicky Castegren, Hyperion Stud.
