Icelandic horses are a popular feature at Sweden International Horse Show. This year, Sweden's Kristján Magnússon pleased his home crowd with a win in the World Cup Tölt with Óskar från Lindeberg.

The Tölt final at Friends Arena are a highlight for the riders, who qualify by picking points at competitions throughout Europe. Only the eight best get through to the final at Sweden International Horse Show. These top riders started the week with a warm-up on Thursday, followed by A- and B-finals on Friday with four riders in each. In the A-final, the line-up consisted of one Swede and three Danes. Kristján Magnússon and Óskar från Lindeberg handled the pressure and beat the Danes with a score of 8.44.

-This means incredibly much to me, says Kristján Magnússon.-I have been waiting for this for quite some time now.

The Swede praises his horse for the win: -He does everything for me. We are friends and do this together, he says of Óskar från Lindeberg.-As soon as I mounted I got the feeling they wouldn’t beat me.
