Julie Christiansen and Kveikur frá Stangarleak 1, at the moment the highest judged fourgaited stallion in the world, and Maria Berg who rode Toppur frá Auðsholtshjáleigu shared second place. Both riders received a total score of 8.389 and they both had a fantastic last part of the program where they received 9,5 from several judges in the fast tempo tölt.

– I think this is a great opportunity for us to show some world-class Icelandic horses for a crowd that’s not that familiar with our sport at this level, continues Dennis Hedebo Johansen.
