Discover Gothenburg at IBTM 2024 – where world-class venues meet West Swedish charm
Gothenburg returns to IBTM World 2024 as the only Swedish destination. Experience a piece of Sweden's unique West Coast at the Gothenburg stand, where sustainability and innovation are at the center.
Gothenburg is known for its welcoming atmosphere, innovation, and commitment to sustainability. It’s not just a top destination; it’s also a leading research hub with the infrastructure to support sustainable choices.
"IBTM is one of the most important events of the year. It is where we expand our network and create future business opportunities. That is why Gothenburg is exhibiting independently with a stand that captures the spirit of the iconic red cabins of the Swedish west coast," says Annika Hallman, director of Gothenburg Convention Bureau.
The destination's investment in IBTM is made in collaboration with the association for large hotels and venues in Gothenburg, which will be represented in the stand.
Gothenburg has several times received awards as a destination that has come a long way in terms of sustainable meetings and events. At IBTM 2024, we want to contribute to a more sustainable meetings industry.
All destinations or exhibitors who are interested in increasing their sustainability work can book a free consultation with Gothenburg's sustainability expert, Katarina Thorstensson, on Tuesday or Wednesday.
The stand conveys a feeling of the West Swedish archipelago and consists entirely by recycled material. To minimize transportation, it is being built onsite by a local partner.
You’ll find us at Stand G25: Scandic Hotels, Strawberry, Elite Hotels, Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre, Gothia Towers, Radisson Blu.
