Design Intelligence Award (DIA) grundades 2015 och är det första internationella akademiska priset inom industridesign i Kina. Med kärnvärdena "Humanistisk Intellekt, Livets Visdom, Industriellt Think Tank och Vetenskap-Konst Intelligens" har det framgångsrikt hållits i nio upplagor. DIA strävar efter professionalism, internationell prägel och perspektiv, vilket gör det till den mest inflytelserika tävlingen för industridesign i Kina och en viktig global plattform för att diskutera intelligent design och innovativ visdom.
Den nuvarande upplagan av DIA lanserades officiellt den 15 december 2023 och har tagit emot över 8 000 bidrag från 47 länder och regioner världen över, med sju nya deltagande länder och en representation från 76 länder och regioner för första gången. Bland bidragen tilldelades 360 verk från 21 länder och regioner priser, varav 39 framstående verk gick till final. Det är värt att notera att 58% av de utvalda verken inte har släppts på marknaden ännu, och 56% gör sin globala debut. Årets bidrag reflekterar den globala mångfalden och det interkulturella utbytet i den samtida eran, och täcker banbrytande tillämpningar inom artificiell intelligens, hjärn-dator-gränssnitt, virtuell verklighet, nya material och mer. De utforskar aktivt nya områden som förstärkt verklighet och symbios mellan människa och maskin inom framväxande industrier som lågflygsekonomi, digitalt kulturarvsturism och humanoidrobotik, vilket främjar omstrukturering och uppgradering av globala leveranskedjor, innovationskedjor och värdekedjor i industrins 4.0-era.
