AI in focus when IVA delegation visits Silicon Valley

A delegation from IVA visits Silicon Valley on February 19–22. Parts of the visit take place in the presence of DD.KK.HH. The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel. The goal is to increase cooperation opportunities between Silicon Valley and Sweden and, by extension, strengthen Sweden's position in digitization and AI.

- The trip is being carried out due to the rapid technological development in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and other digital technologies currently taking place in Silicon Valley. IVA believes that it is of the utmost importance for Swedish companies and organizations to gain a deeper understanding of the ongoing development, and at the same time be given the opportunity to establish relationships and identify actual business opportunities, says Marcus Wallenberg, Chair of IVA.
The delegation consists of 36 people from industry, startups, investors, academia, and the public sector. The program includes, among other things, visits to leading tech companies and organizations such as OpenAI, NVIDIA, and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and seminars on AI at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI).
The visit to Silicon Valley is carried out in collaboration with Business Sweden.
