Change in Kommuninvest's Management

Katarina Ljungqvist, CEO of Kommuninvest AB and CEO of Kommuninvest Cooperative Society since April 1, 2023, has announced that she will be leaving her role as CEO. The recruitment process for her successor will start immediately. Katarina will continue in her role as CEO until a new CEO has been recruited.

- I want to extend my and the board's warmest thanks to Katarina for her valuable contributions. With great commitment, she has improved our strategic governance. Under Katarina's leadership, Kommuninvest Cooperative Society has increased the number of members and strengthened the sector's conditions through sustainable financing solutions, says Linda Frohm, chairman of the board, Kommuninvest Cooperative Society.
- Katarina has led Kommuninvest in Sweden AB with her great commitment and competence to become even stronger than before. During Katarina's time as CEO, we have improved our offerings to customers as well as our relationships with investors worldwide. We have also strengthened the organizational capacity of the company, says Erik Langby, chairman of the board, Kommuninvest AB.
- After careful consideration and a great deal of anguish, I have made the decision to leave Kommuninvest. I am deeply grateful for the trust that has been shown to me over the years, both from the owners, the association board, the corporate board, and from all the fantastic and dedicated employees. Together, we have achieved several important changes in a short time, and it has been a great honor to lead this work, says Katarina Ljungqvist, CEO of Kommuninvest.
- Katarina has accomplished incredible things during her time as CEO, and I want to emphasize that even though Katarina unfortunately has chosen to leave us now, the group's strategic direction for the coming years will remain unchanged, says Linda Frohm, chairwoman of the board, Kommuninvest Cooperative Society.
