Ferroman Engineering appoints Ola Axelsson CEO – two decades of industrial leadership accelerating digital and green steel innovation

Ferroman Engineering enters a new era with Ola Axelsson as CEO. With two decades of industrial leadership, Axelsson brings a wealth of experience in technology, production, and innovation to accelerate digitalization, AI, and electrification across sustainable steel solutions. His appointment marks a defining step in Ferroman’s mission to drive the green transition of the steel industry while uniting teams under the One Ferroman vision.

Axelsson joins Ferroman from Uddeholm, where he held several senior roles, most recently serving as Vice President Technology & Innovation, leading transformative initiatives across automation, energy management, digitalization, and investment strategy. He played a central role in establishing AI platforms, implementing process optimization, and advancing Uddeholm’s roadmap toward fossil-free steel production by 2030.
