On Friday, 20 February, Maya Delorez invites the visitors of Gothenburg Horse Show to an exclusive Masterclass featuring two of equestrian sport’s greatest names. Get ready for Danish Olympic and World Championship medalist Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and Finnish dressage legend and trainer Kyra Kyrklund, a multiple-time Olympic rider and World Championship silver medalist.

This Masterclass offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the knowledge and experience of the very top of the world elite. Beginning from the fundamentals of dressage, Cathrine - guided by Kyra - will share her key exercises and tools that the audience can take home and apply to their own everyday riding, regardless of level.

The collaboration between Kyra and Cathrine

In 2015, Cathrine - one of the most successful dressage riders of her generation - reached out to Kyra Kyrklund, beginning a partnership that has since become a true success story. With decades of experience, Kyra joined the team and opened, as Cathrine herself describes it, “a whole new world of dressage.”

“Kyra and I like the same type of horses - hot, forward, and full of energy - which makes the coaching easier. She helps me a lot with finding relaxation in them, something she truly is an expert at. She is always straight to the point and never holds back. I see her as part of the family now,” says Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour.

The Maya Delorez Masterclass takes place on Friday, 20 February, between the FEI Dressage World Cup™ Grand Prix and the Lövsta Future Challenge U25 Dressage Tour Freestyle.
