Celebrating sustainability: Svea Solar Italy receives Assosvezia Sustainability Award 2025

The award was presented on December 11 during the traditional Santa Lucia Gala Dinner and is assigned by a jury composed of the Swedish Ambassador, the President of Assosvezia, the Commercial Office of the Swedish Embassy in Italy, and the Assosvezia Sustainability Working Group.

The project: Svea Solar ETS Renewable Energy Community (CER)

For Svea Solar’s 2025 application, the focus has been on our Renewable Energy Community, established in July 2024 and among the first in Italy to offer a truly open and collaborative model based on sharing the benefits of clean energy.

CER Svea Solar ETS represents a new way of experiencing renewable energy, providing tangible benefits for individuals, businesses, and communities:

• Free access, with no hidden costs;
• Available throughout Italy, regardless of location;
• Advanced digital platform to monitor production, consumption, self-consumption, and energy exchanges in real time.

The jury highlighted the project’s strong social, economic, and environmental impact, as well as the CER’s ability to create a participatory and inclusive ecosystem with a nationwide, long-term perspective.

We are particularly proud to receive the Sustainability Award, as it also celebrates Svea Solar’s long-term vision: putting people at the center of the energy transition and creating solutions that are sustainable not only environmentally, but also economically and socially.
