Brenus Pharma's Novel In Vivo Immunotherapy STC-1010 Shows Safety, Activating T Cells in First-Line MSS Metastatic Colorectal Cancers With 2 Complete Responses.23.10.2026 14:50:00 CEST | Press Release

Brenus Pharma, a clinical-stage biotech company, announced first data from the Phase Ia dose escalation of BreAK CRC-001. Nine unresectable patients were treated; 89% had liver metastases and 89% KRAS-mutant tumors, a population refractory to immunotherapy. Median follow-up: 8 months (1–14; data cut-off 6/08/2026). 95% of metastatic colorectal cancers are pMMR/MSS tumors, poorly immunogenic and resistant to immunotherapy. STC-1010, the company’s lead in vivo DC-engager, is designed to make these “cold” tumors visible to immune cells. Safety: no dose-limiting toxicity, only grade 1–2 related adverse events. Clinical activity (seven evaluable patients, RECIST 1.1): 100% disease control, 57% objective response rate (4/7). 43% of patients became operable (3/7): two with no evidence of disease afterward. Molecular profile: ctDNA dropped by up to 97% within two months, TP53 and KRAS mutations near undetectable. Immune activity (first six patients): STC-1010 regimen nearly quadrupled cytotoxi

Takeda Announces Arcotatug Tavatecan (TAK-921) Demonstrated Statistically Significant and Clinically Meaningful Improvements in Overall Survival and Progression-Free Survival in Phase 3 Advanced Gastric Cancer Study23.10.2026 13:30:00 CEST | Press Release

Takeda(TSE:4502/NYSE:TAK)announced positive results from the Phase 3 G-HOPE-001 study (NCT06238843) of arcotatug tavatecan (TAK-921; Innovent R&D code: IBI343) in patients with Claudin (CLDN)18.2-positive, previously treated, advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma (G/GEJA). Results from two prespecified interim analyses, which were shared in a late-breaking oral presentation at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress, showed the study met its dual primary endpoints of overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS). Gastric cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide, and outcomes are particularly poor once the disease is advanced.1 Because treatment options are limited for people whose cancer continues to progress after multiple therapies, there is a significant need for new targeted therapies.2 CLDN18.2, a protein found at abnormally high levels on the surface of certain cancer cells, has emerged as a key biomarke
