Swedish Game Studio Expands - Moves Into New Office in Ebbepark
20.5.2026 08:00:00 CEST | East Sweden Game | Press Release
The Linköping-based game studio Fancade AB continues its growth journey. After nearly ten years of organic growth, the studio is now moving into a larger new office in Ebbepark - right in the heart of Linköping’s rapidly growing game development cluster.
At the same time, the company is strengthening its team with several key hires. Robin Gylling, formerly of Thunderful Publishing, joins as Studio Manager, while Ivar Kamsvåg takes on the role of Lead Programmer.

The studio currently consists of around ten people, many of whom were recruited from Linköping University and the local game development program Valla Game Education.
“We’ve been building steadily and sustainably for many years, and now feels like the right time to scale up even further,” says Robin Gylling, Studio Manager at Fancade AB.
Fancade is both a gaming platform and a creative tool where users can play, create, and publish their own games. The platform has grown into an international success within instant games and user-generated content. Among the company’s most successful titles are Drive Mad and Longcat.
One of the fastest-growing titles is the hit game Drive Mad, which according to the company has now been played more than 400 million times across web and mobile platforms.
“Drive Mad continues to grow rapidly on a global scale and reaches a very broad audience,” says Robin Gylling.
Fancade was originally created by Swedish game developer Martin Magni and has over the years built a strong community of both players and creators. The platform was also recognized by Google Play with the “Best Innovative” award in 2020.
The company just hosted a housewarming party in its new office, where much of the local game industry gathered to celebrate the studio’s success and the continued growth of Linköping’s game development scene.
