Pontus Agerteg appointed new CCO at Snigel

Pontus Agerteg has extensive experience from the defence and security sector, with previous roles in both sales and support. He joins most recently from Bertin Exensor, where he served as Head of Service and Aftermarket, having previously held the role of Nordic Sales Manager. He also has a background in the Swedish Armed Forces, where he served within the Air Force Rangers and at the Swedish Air Force’s Tactical Development Unit. 

In addition to his operational and commercial experience from the defence sector, Pontus Agerteg chairs the SME member group within the Swedish Security and Defence Industry Association, SOFF.

He has a strong understanding of users’ needs, the structure of the defence industry, and what it takes to build long-term business, both nationally and internationally. As CCO, Pontus Agerteg will be responsible for Snigel’s continued commercial development, including marketing and sales. The aim is to strengthen the company’s position in the Swedish market and continue its development towards becoming a leading systems supplier. The recruitment comes at a time when Snigel continues to grow, with the goal of expanding into several European markets.
