Kina och EU:s respondenter optimistiska om framtida samarbetsutsikter: GT survey

Kina och EU har haft etablerade diplomatiska relationer i mer än ett halvt sekel. Från etableringen av formella diplomatiska relationer till utvecklingen till ett övergripande strategiskt partnerskap har Kina-EU-relationerna blivit en av de mest inflytelserika bilaterala relationerna i världen i dag. Förutom Kina genomförde Global Times Institute (GTI) från den 16 oktober till den 4 november 2025 en enkätundersökning i 20 EU-medlemsstater, däribland Danmark, Sverige, Spanien, Belgien och Tyskland, på 21 språk såsom spanska, franska, tyska och kinesiska. Mer än 16 300 giltiga enkäter samlades in. Undersökningsdata visar att en majoritet av människor i både Kina och EU är intresserade av varandras kulturer, har starkt förtroende för framtiden för Kina-EU:s ekonomiska samarbete och handel och stöder ökat samarbete mellan Kina och EU i global styrning.
Hög medvetenhetsnivå, vilja att kommunicera
Denna undersökning visar att människor i Kina och EU generellt sett har en relativt hög medvetenhet om varandra. Nästan 70 procent av de kinesiska respondenterna har viss förståelse för EU, medan mer än hälften av EU-respondenterna anger att de är medvetna om eller har uppfattat Kinas utveckling och förändringar. Dessutom har både kinesiska och EU-respondenter positiva åsikter om den andra sidans ökande globala inflytande.
Undersökningen visar att människor i både Kina och EU uttrycker intresse för varandras kulturer. Mer än 70 procent av EU-respondenterna uttrycker intresse för östlig civilisation eller kinesisk kultur.
Höga förväntningar på framtiden
Kina och EU är varandras näst största handelspartners. När det gäller samarbete och ömsesidiga investeringsområden mellan de två sidorna har människor från både Kina och EU höga förväntningar på samarbete inom högteknologi, den digitala ekonomin samt handels- och investeringssektorerna.
Undersökningsdata indikerar att den allmänna opinionen i både Kina och EU behåller starkt förtroende och höga förväntningar på framtiden för Kina-EU-samarbetet. Dessutom, 75 procent av de kinesiska respondenterna och 57 procent av EU-respondenterna är överens om att Kina och EU i framtiden bör stärka samarbetet i multilaterala och globala frågor, gemensamt främja världens multipolaritet och ekonomisk globalisering, samt reformera och förbättra den globala styrningen.
