Sonoco's Orbit lid certified "Easy to use" by the Swedish Rheumatism Association

Sonoco's packaging solution, Orbit, has been certified as Easy to use by the Swedish Rheumatism Association following extensive user testing. The certification confirms that the product meets high standards of usability and accessibility for people with reduced hand function.
Orbit was developed with the aim of creating packaging that is simple and safe to use for as many consumers as possible. Through the Swedish Rheumatism Association's independent testing process, the product was evaluated by individuals with varying levels of hand strength and dexterity, providing unique third-party verification of its ease of use.

- Better packaging should enable better lives, and that starts with putting people at the heart of its design. Something as simple as opening a jar should never become a barrier. It is not only a matter of convenience, but of independence. From the very beginning, Sonoco set out to create a packaging solution that would make everyday life easier and more accessible for as many people as possible. Receiving the independent Easy to use certification from the Swedish Rheumatism Association for our Orbit vacuum closure is therefore particularly meaningful to us. It confirms that Orbit is not simply a good idea in principle, but a solution that genuinely works and can make a difference in people’s everyday lives.
