The competition is based on the open-source LingBot-VLA 2.0 embodied foundation model and is designed for developers working on embodied AI algorithms. Participants are evaluated on model training and fine-tuning, simulation-based generalization, and adaptation to real robots. The challenge is open to enterprises, universities, individual developers and technology enthusiasts worldwide.

More than 1,800 teams and thousands of developers from 13 countries have registered for the challenge. Participants include teams from leading universities, research institutions, technology companies and embodied AI startups. The on-site final will take place in Shanghai from November 14 to 16, conducted as a real-robot hackathon.

The competition has attracted participation from leading Chinese universities, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Zhejiang University. International research teams have also joined from Carnegie Mellon University, University College London, Technical University of Munich, National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and other renowned institutions.

Industry participants include developers from Tencent, Alibaba, ByteDance, Meituan, Microsoft, BYD and Xiaomi. Leading embodied and humanoid robotics teams such as UBTECH, Fourier Intelligence and Agibot have also registered.

Among all participants, teams from universities and research institutions make up 74.7%, with master’s and doctoral students representing 67.4%. Developers from enterprises and frontline engineering roles account for 25.2%. Participants with backgrounds in VLA, or vision-language-action, and multimodal foundation models represent 51.7%.

The Robbyant Embodied AI Challenge aims to provide a shared evaluation environment for developers to experiment with embodied foundation models and test their capabilities in realistic robotic tasks. By opening access to LingBot-VLA 2.0 and related evaluation settings, the organizers hope to encourage broader participation in embodied AI development and support the transition from algorithmic research to practical robotic applications.

Pythia Labs Launches with AI-Designed Antibodies for Hard-to-Drug Targets27.10.2026 13:00:00 CET | Press Release

Pythia Labs, a biotechnology company building frontier AI models for therapeutic discovery, today announced its launch alongside a preprint in bioRxiv introducing Pythia-1, the all-atom generative model at the core of its antibody design platform. This press release features multimedia. View the full release here: https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20261027891477/en/ Pythia's AI technology platform can design antibodies against traditionally challenging targets such as multi-pass membrane proteins. Pythia’s technology is built to create antibodies against targets that have challenged conventional discovery, including multi-pass membrane proteins such as G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs). Generating antibodies that activate these receptors has been a longstanding goal in antibody discovery. Pythia-1 reasons jointly over amino acid sequence, three-dimensional atomic structure and explicit design specifications. The platform provides control over where an antibody binds, the conform

Listen Labs Launches Listen Twins, AI Models That Predict How Real Customers Behave27.10.2026 13:00:00 CET | Press Release

Listen Labs, the AI platform for customer understanding, launched Listen Twins, one-to-one AI models of real people in a company’s target audience. Each Twin is built from an in-depth interview and can predict what that person will do and why. Companies can ask their own panel of 100+ Twins a question and see how their audience would respond in seconds. Every Listen Twin is based on one real person and purpose-built for each team’s use cases. In testing, Twin answers matched the distribution of real people’s answers with 93% accuracy. How it works Teams define their target audience and the decisions they want to inform. Listen Labs recruits matching participants from its network of more than 50 million people, interviews each one in depth, and builds their Twin. Each model is also enriched with a company’s existing customer, persona, and past study data. Across an organization, teams can ask their Twins any question. Each Twin answers with its reasoning, the real interview quote behind
