Bertrandt Sverige AB launches in Gothenburg - Establishment of a site in Sweden
Ehningen/Gothenburg, December 10, 2025 – Bertrandt continues its international growth strategy by founding Bertrandt Sverige AB in Sweden. Proximity to renowned OEMs such as Volvo Cars, access to an innovation cluster, and a focus on sustainable, future-oriented technologies are the core of this location decision.

The newly established company Bertrandt Sverige AB aims to become the preferred engineering partner in Sweden,” says Florian Fuest, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bertrandt Sverige AB.
The choice of Gothenburg was a strategic and deliberate decision. Our site is near Volvo Cars, the Volvo Group, and the renowned Chalmers University of Technology. This environment offers ideal conditions for technological collaboration and innovation.
The founding of Bertrandt Sverige AB is part of a targeted market penetration strategy along European OEMs and industrial customers. As a strategic supplier to Volvo Cars, Bertrandt will take on demanding development projects.

Munich, 13. January 2026 - Vyoma, a Germany-based company providing Space Domain Awareness (SDA) capabilities, has launched its pioneering surveillance satellite, Flamingo-1, on Sunday, January 11th, 2026 from Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, USA. It was launched aboard the Twilight rideshare mission with SpaceX via Germany-based launch integrator Exolaunch. The satellite was deployed to its operational Sun-synchronous orbit of approximately 500-km in altitude. This marks a significant achievement for the company, which patented the operational concept of an optimized SDA mission. Flamingo-1, equipped with an optical sensor for space-based space surveillance, is a gamechanger for Europe, strengthening SDA efforts directly from orbit. The advanced optical instrument will detect, track and characterize space objects, such as debris and other satellites. Crucially, it will allow Vyoma and its customers to follow up on manoeuvring objects and derive insights into adversary actions
