AP-fondernas etikråd

The year 2025 was characterised by turbulence and a complex global environment, marked by increased levels of conflict, growing polarisation in key sustainability areas, and rapid technological development. For the Council on Ethics of the Swedish National Pension Funds, this has led to a strong focus on extensive analysis based on international norms and conventions, as well as on systemic issues linked to the mining industry and the impact of big tech companies on human rights.

Året 2025 har kännetecknats av turbulens och en komplex omvärld, präglad av ökade konfliktnivåer, tilltagande polarisering i viktiga hållbarhetsfrågor och snabb teknikutveckling. För AP-fondernas etikråd har det inneburit fokus på betydande analysinsatser utifrån internationella normer och konventioner men också på systemfrågor kopplade till gruvnäringen och stora techbolags påverkan på mänskliga rättigheter.

The Council on Ethics for the Swedish National Pension Funds sums up a year of active engagement. The proactive work addresses important systemic issues, including antimicrobial resistance and the extraction of critical metals and minerals for the green transition. The outcomes during 2024 also show continued progress in the reactive company dialogues.

AP-fondernas etikråd summerar ett år av aktiv påverkan. Det proaktiva arbetet adresserar viktiga systemfrågor, bland annat antimikrobiell resistens och utvinning av kritiska metaller och mineraler för den gröna omställningen. 2024 års resultat visar också på fortsatt positiva förflyttningar inom de bolag som Etikrådet för reaktiva dialoger med.

Jenny Gustafsson has been appointed as the new Head of the AP Funds’ Council on Ethics. Jenny joins the Council from AMF and will lead the work of further strengthening the Council and contributing both to value creation in the income pension system and to more sustainable societies. The recruitment is part of the development of the Council.

Jenny Gustafsson har utnämnts till ny chef för AP-fondernas etikråd. Jenny kommer närmast från AMF och ska leda arbetet med att stärka Etikrådet ytterligare och bidra både till värdeskapande för inkomstpensionssystemet och en hållbar samhällsutveckling. Rekryteringen är ett led i utvecklingen av Etikrådet.
