Museum of Furniture Studies, som grundades av arkitekterna och designerna Kersti Sandin och Lars Bülow, förvärvades av IKEA Älmhult AB i augusti 2024. Museet planeras att öppna i Älmhult i början av februari 2027, då i ny form inkluderande både möbeldesignhistoria, den samtida designscenen och innovativa idéer för framtiden.

Museum of Furniture Studies, founded by the Swedish architects and designers Kersti Sandin and Lars Bülow, was aquired by IKEA Älmhult AB in August 2024. The museum is planned to open in Älmhult early February 2027, this time in a new shape including both furniture history, contemporary design and innovative ideas stretching towards the future.
